It’s going to be a weekend full of fun activities and entertainment at the Great British Festival 2015 happening from February 27 to March 1 at Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City. Tour the UK (in miniature, by foot), watch a fashion show, see a film in open air, indulge in food, get lost in the music, and more during this three-day festival and experience the best of the UK right here in Manila.

This year, 9 Works Theatrical presents a bigger, bolder, more glamorous, and a more flamboyant (but heartwarming) dance musical that will surely give you a good laugh: La Cage Aux Folles by Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Herman based on the 1973 French play of the same title by Jean Poiret. It will be staged locally from February 28 to March 29 at the RCBC Theater, and will be directed by seasoned actor and director Robbie Guevara. Officially closing the love month is Manila Shakespeare Company’s version of William Shakespeare's timeless classic about star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. The production will be staged on February 27, and March 5 and March 6 at Teatrino in Promenade, Greenhills. In this inaugural production, Rachel Coates plays Juliet and Nelsito Gomez plays Romeo, while Issa Litton will be playing Juliet's mother, Lady Capulet. It will be directed by the group's artistic director Nicanor "Nic" Campos.

Catch PETA’s Haring Lear, a play set in a post-nuclear landscape that highlights the dramatic descent of a king into madness, opening on February 27, 7:30 p.m. at the School of Design and Arts in De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. The production runs through March 8. Tickets are priced at P1,042 and P833; P1,563 and P1,042 on Gala Night (February 27).

Ballet Manila, led by prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, celebrates its 20th anniversary gala with BM 2.0, happening on February 28, 7:30 p.m., and March 1, 3 p.m., at the Aliw Theater. Aside from a medley of classical favorites and original Filipino ballets, the concert also unveils Bloom by international choreographer Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa as its centerpiece. BM alumna Christine Rocas of the Joffrey Ballet returns as guest artist. Tickets are priced at P1,545, P1,030, and P515.
