William Shakespeare meets spoken word at Fully Booked’s Open Mic Night

A fun way to celebrate Shakespeare’s 451st birthday

(SPOT.ph) This year marks the great William Shakespeare’s 451st birthday and what better way to celebrate than seeing his works come to life in a new and different way?

Head to The Atrium at Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street on April 25, and join in on Shake It Off: A Shakespearean Open Mic Night where you and your love for spoken word and all things Shakespeare can take center stage. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and includes impromptu performances from the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).

For fans of Shakespeare and pop culture, Fully Booked will also be raffling off copies of Dr. Who: The Shakespeare Notebooks and Shakespeare Star Wars: The Empire Striketh Back. Admission is free, and there’s no need to register! Just approach the designated organizers at the venue if you want to perform.
