SPOTTED: Inflatable Island Is Getting a Tropical Beach Club Makeover

(SPOT.ph) Feeling the summer sun yet? Well, suppose you're out planning your next dose of vitamin sea. In that case, you might want to consider giving your usual beach trip an extra dose of adrenalin by bouncing and sliding around the inflatable obstacle course at Inflatable Island. But ICYDK, the inflatable water park, is headed to a new location, and not only that, but it's also getting a swanky and posh makeover. Say goodbye to the old Inflatable Island in Subic and say hello to the Inflatable Island Beach Club in Olongapo, opening this March 24.

Here's what we know about Inflatable Island's latest makeover:

For an introductory rate starting at P799, get to know the brand-new Zambales attraction when it reopens this March. Donning a brighter and more pastel look compared to its current black-and-white motif, it's not only Inflatable Island's address that's getting an update but also its overall vibe and aesthetic. 

With pastel bean bags, nipa-style huts, and cabanas, the Inflatable Island Beach Club takes a more tropical and Balinese look to its new location. But despite this major change in appearance, Inflatable Island Beach Club still proudly boasts its status as Asia's largest inflatable playground. The new location has allowed the resort to expand. It now covers an area of over 4,200 square meters—that's as big as eight basketball courts put side by side.

Beach-goers and adrenaline junkies can expect additional inflatable slides, towers, bridges, human launchers, swings, and so much more in the super-sized resort.

But that's not all. The new beach resort will also feature a new restaurant that serves quick bites as well as rice meals to power you up for a full fun day under the sun. Now you can sip different tipples and drinks as you chill from sunrise to sunset. Not only that, but a new swanky pool with poolside cabanas for easy access will also be unveiled.

But hold your horses, before you head to Inflatable Island Beach Club, you might want to know that the pool won't be open this March. Resort administrators estimate that the pool will be fully completed sometime in April.
