(SPOT.ph) Whoever said video arcades are only for kids probably hasn't let off steam in one of the racing and shooter games. And if you're looking for more reasons to hang out in one, Timezone's newest branch at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces may have the answer. The new Quezon City outpost officially opened on March 10 with more than 2,800 square meters of space—the size of five basketball courts, Timezone Philippines' biggest yet.

What to See at the New Timezone Fairview
The new Timezone at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces houses over 160 arcade games with the Hologate Virtual Reality Arena as one of its highlights.

With equipment flown in from Germany, this virtual reality (VR) experience lets you walk, run, and jump in place as if you're really part of the game. The whole thing has a VR headset, motion-tracked handheld controllers, weapon controllers, and motion sensors to complete the VR escape.

It also has the Spinzone from the United States, which true to its name, spins its riders round and round. Not your usual bumper car experience, each ride feature covered bumpers that reduces impact, dual joystick controls that lets you spin 360 degrees, a high backrest to protect your head and neck, and colorful lights.
Families and groups looking to have a great time can also try either one of the four full-lane bowling alleys or the six short-lane ones. There are tables for billiards, air hockey, and ping pong to bring out your competitive spirit. You can also choose to lay back and sing your heart out as Timezone Fairview boasts eight karaoke rooms that can accommodate up to six people.

This new Timezone branch is also the only one in the Philippines with a snack bar called Let's Eat. It has everything you want from an arcade center: hotdogs, chips, and soda. Don't miss the Potato Corner stall—but you surely won't.

Timezone is at 2/F Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces, Quirino Highway corner Maligaya Drive, Barangay Pasong Putik Novaliches, Quezon City. It is open from Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and from Friday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, follow Timezone on Facebook.
