(SPOT.ph) In case you missed it: Ayala Avenue will be closed to cars on September 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. to provide more pedestrian-friendly spaces. You can pretty much do whatever you want in the two-kilometer stretch, like take a relaxing stroll, bike, walk pets, and roller skate.
No bike? No problem. You can rent a bike by Moovr to bring you around Makati anytime, but most especially on car-free Sunday mornings along Ayala Avenue. It will only cost P25 for every 15 minutes of biking time.
You will have to download the Moovr app on Android or iOS since payment for this sharing service is contactless, which means you can get Moovr credits through GCash or debit/credit cards. Its app-enabled system also makes it easy to locate and return bike rentals at the start and end of your journey.
Don’t forget to bring a helmet for safety!
