Cebu Pacific Is the First PH Company to Light Up Burj Khalifa

(SPOT.ph) Local budget airline, Cebu Pacific, made history over the weekend by taking over and illuminating the iconic Burj Khalifa with a stunning display of lights and sound. This groundbreaking feat marked the first time a Philippine company has taken over the world's tallest structure.

Here's how Cebu Pacific took over the Burj Khalifa last weekend:

A landmark event, Cebu Pacific wowed the crowd in Dubai with a lights and sound show that showcased the country's vibrant landscapes and rich culture. 

“We’re proud to share a piece of home on such a grand stage,” said CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao.

From the world-famous beaches of Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu to other breathtaking natural wonders like Mayon Volcano and Chocolate Hills, to displays of the famously warm Filipino hospitality, the roughly three-minute show features the many different reasons to visit the Philippines in 2025.

“This is a celebration of Philippine pride and an invitation for travelers to connect with the unique beauty, culture, and warmth our country offers,” adds Lao. The projection aims to showcase the Philippines' offerings to the global stage and give Filipinos in the United Arab Emirates a glimpse of home.
