Celebrate art and independence with Snoopy at Peanuts Artland
The iconic doghouse is getting makeover.
(SPOT.ph) Got no plans for the long weekend? We have an idea! Drop by SM Mega Fashion Hall and check out Peanuts Artland to celebrate Filipino and Global Artistry on the 117th Philippine Independence Day.
The exhibit features Snoopy's iconic doghouse with a twist by both Filipino and global artists. The much-loved beagle's home has been given a design makeover (yup, with Snoopy casually lying on the roof!) by some recognizable figures: fashion designer Rajo Laurel, sculptor Toym Imao, fashion photographer BJ Pascual, street artist Dee Jae Pa'este, sculptors Leeroy New, artists Olivia and Alexandra d’Aboville, painter Dominic Rubio, Presidential Merit awardee Juvenal Sanso, pop artist Ron English, Thai actor Mario Maurer, and Indonesian artist, Hahan in collaboration with F3 race car driver cum artist, Gaby dela Merced.
You can even bring a doghouse home! All Snoopy doghouses are for sale, with the proceeds going to SM Foundation's school-building program for kids. The exhibit will run until June 14. Here's what to expect from Peanuts Artland:
