Watercolor Painting 101
Prism Studio's Getting Started with Watercolor Workshop will teach the basics for beginners!
(SPOT.ph) Learn a new skill before January ends! If you've always wanted to try your hand at watercolor but never got the chance to (or you're too afraid to mess up), we found the workshop that's perfect for you. Prism Studio Series ends the month with Getting Started with Watercolor by Kat Gosiengfiao. The workshop is happening on January 30, Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Prism Gallery.
Kat Gosiengfiao graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts with a degree in Painting and is now a full-time artist. She will teach the workshop participants theory and practical know-how to get things right from the start, plus various watercolor techniques.
The workshop fee is P2,900 per person inclusive of a workshop kit that includes various watercolor papers, six sable brushes, a watercolor pan set, and a mixing plate. But if you're bringing your own materials, workshop fee is P1,600 per person—just make sure to contact the organizers for a list of materials you should bring.
