This up-and-coming waterfront spot will showcase the Cebu sunset
Here's what you can expect from the 20-hectare Mandani Bay.
(SPOT.ph) If you've ever been to Singapore, chances are, you've spent a good couple of hours taking in the sights at the country's Marina Bay. Hongkong Land, the folks behind the famous tourist spot, will be opening a similar waterfront destination (in partnership with Taft Properties) right here in the Philippines.
The property will eventually give rise to over 20 skyscrapers.
For now, it will begin with just two towers.
Launched in April 2016, Mandani Bay will be a 20-hectare, high-end development located along a 600-meter stretch of the Mactan Channel in Cebu's Mandaue City. This means everyone, from residents to tourists, can enjoy a scenic view of the harbor while exploring its outdoor leisure activities.
The Marina and Boardwalk
The highlight, of course, will be the Marina and Boardwalk, giving onlookers a stunning view of the scenic coast and the surrounding Cebu skyline. (Imagine that gorgeous sunset!) According to its developers, the harbor will eventually be open for locals to try their hand at watersports or sailing.
The Green Promenade
Footbridges will connect towers to each other for easy access.
At the heart of Mandani Bay will be the Green Promenade, a lush and sprawling avenue that allows visitors and residents to access the property's recreational options. Head to High Street for some luxury retail therapy, drop by the Art and Cultural District to catch colorful musical performances or check out some local artwork, and satisfy your appetite at the Food Street.

Mandani Bay won't just be a lifestyle property; it will also offer a residential enclave for folks who want to call this waterfront destination home. The two towers of Mandani Bay Suites will be situated atop a large podium that houses residential amenities such as a gym, lap pools, an outdoor lounge, a barbecue pit, a playground, and a yoga deck.
It's going to be a while until Mandani Bay officially opens to the public, but think of it this way: you still have plenty of time to make plans for your visit. When you're done having your fill of lechon or exploring the historical and tourist sites that Cebu has to offer, there's going to be more to see and do in Mandaue City. That baywalk sunset is just too irresistible to pass up.
Mandani Bay is at F.E. Zuellig Avenue, Mandaue City, Cebu. Mandani Bay Suites' gallery is now open to the public for interested buyers. For more information, contact (032) 262-6888 or visit Mandani Bay's website.
