Komiks fans, meet your comic-book heroes at this weekend event
Graphic novels, postcards, and more are up for grabs!
(SPOT.ph) Artists, writers, bookworms, and comic enthusiasts, listen up! Save your weekend for the third year of the Filipino Komiks and Art Market, a.k.a. Komiket, happening on Saturday, February 25, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Elements at Centris. It will be followed by the Komiket Artist Talks on February 26, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the U-View Theater, Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street.
Meet and greet over 300 authors, illustrators, and komiks creators, and you might just get the scoop on their latest projects. Graphic novels, stickers, postcards, art prints, and original artworks are up for grabs, too! On Sunday, listen and learn from comic book superstars Arnold Arre, Manix Abrera, Carlo Vergara, and Eugene Madayag. Entrance to the market is at P50, while tickets to the talk are priced at P550.
