Rediscover the beauty of Manila at this weekend festival
Just show up and pay whatever you can!
(SPOT.ph) With all the buildings and establishments (not to mention the traffic!) right now, it's kind of hard to imagine how Manila was back in the day. Fortunately, VivaManila and Carlos Celdran will give everyone a glimpse of the city's past at Manila Transitio 1945 on February 26, 3 p.m., starting at Baluarte San Diego, Intramuros.
This gathering is a way of remembering the Battle of Manila through a public picnic, an art exhibition, a community ritual, and an open-air concert in one of the gardens of Intramuros. Celebrate Manila for what it was, what it is, and what it could be. This event might just make you love the city even more! Registration is on a pay-what-you-can basis.
