Hong Kong Disneyland's newest hotel is perfect for the world explorer in you
It opens its doors on April 30.
(SPOT.ph) Hong Kong’s “Happiest Place on Earth” (a.k.a. Disneyland) may have been around since 2005 but that doesn’t mean that it is behind the times. The theme park regularly updates its attractions, with the Iron Man Experience being the latest after opening its doors in January 2017. Another addition this year is the Disney Explorers Lodge, the property’s third hotel which is set to start serving guests on April 30.
“Ad explorare et somniare” (“to explore and dream”), the seven-storey hotel's motto, is followed to the letter. Walls are designed with artifacts and memorabilia that would remind you of ancient cultures.
World of Color
Chart Room Café
You can have a taste of authentic Eastern cuisine at Dragon Wind, a fusion of international dishes at the World of Color Restaurant, and specialty coffee from around the globe at Chart Room Café. The gardens surrounding the Disney Explorers Lodge are also travel-inspired: the Kevin Garden, representing South America; Little Squirt Garden for Oceania; Hathi Jr. Garden to represent Asia; and Rafiki Garden, which reminds you an African savannah. A large swimming pool at the edge of the hotel's Pool Garden would make you want to go ala-Moana while overlooking the South China Sea.
Convinced yet? Well, you should be. Because guests staying at Disney Explorers Lodge also get Priority Admission Pass for selected attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney Explorers Lodge is at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Rates start at H.K. $ 2,200++ (~P14,000). For more information, visit Hong Kong Disneyland's website.
