Soon You Can Live Out Your Jedi Dreams at Disney World's New Star Wars Hotel
Light sabers might be included.
(SPOT.ph) Get ready to be one with the Force as Walt Disney World introduces the world's first Star Wars hotel. The plans for the hotel were revealed at the D23 Expo, a yearly gathering of the official Disney fan club, held from July 14 to July 16.
The hotel will be designed to resemble a spaceship while amenities include a water park, a wellness center, and a "cantina" for meals. (Keep your fingers crossed for C3PO butlers!) But references to the famous franchise go beyond the blueprints of the hotel.
They're also planning an interactive experience of the Star Wars universe by having guests become citizens of the galaxy right from the minute they board the spaceship. Guests will dress up as characters and possibly even go on missions just like a Jedi.
The one-of-a-kind hotel experience is set to be completed in 2019. So far, guests can only stay for two nights and up to four people can stay in one room. The rooms are expected to cost around U.S. $900 to U.S. $1,000, inclusive of all meals during the stay as well as tickets to the theme park.
