Take your hike to the next level-even on a budget.
(SPOT.ph) An adventurous hiking trip with your friends is always a good idea. Your challenging climb up a rugged terrain is rewarded with a beautiful view of lush forests and a vast, blue sky, and it's enough to make any nature-lover swoon. And what would make the trip even more (exciting) is if you could spend the night amidst all that nature has to offer. Kuta Bungliw Eco Lodge and Campsite in Rizal, gives you the chance to do just that.
Indigenous people from nearby communities help run this quaint little homestead that offers a clear and beautiful view of the Daraitan-Agos River. It’s made up of spacious nipa huts that can fit the whole gang. The big common hut called Kubo ni Salome can accommodate up to 25 people. Five to six people can stay in Kubo ni Elias, while Kubo ni Bagani can accommodate four people.
They even have a hammock hut where you can just relax while a picturesque sea of clouds covers the treetops early in the morning. If you want to bring your own gear or rent a tent, they have an open space where you can set up camp, too! Soon, they’ll also have a hanging bridge, an outdoor oven, a treehouse, and even a small library.
In addition to accommodations, they offer day trips and excursions that will excite the adrenaline junkie in you. You can hike the nearby Mt. Daraitan and Mt. Matulis or you can also go swimming and spelunking in Tinipak.
