Plan a Staycation With Your Pet at This New Serviced Apartment

Your furbabies need their rest, too!

( Going on a vacation (or even just a staycation) can be a big problem for pet owners. It's hard to find pet-friendly accommodations in Metro Manila so you have to leave your furbabies behind in a trusty daycare. Even then, you'd worry if your dog or cat is being fed on time, harassing the sitters, or dealing well with its newfound friends. The Cirque, a new serviced apartment that opened in September at Circulo Verde in Quezon City, understands this dilemma of pet parents.

The Cirque Serviced Residences, which offers 55 rooms for either a night or a long-term stay, is now available as an option for pet owners who don't want to leave their furbabies at home. You can choose from a one-bedroom flat (P4,800), a one-bedroom loft (P5,750), and two-bedroom suite (P7,200). One pet per room may stay free of charge, but an additional is charged P1,500 per night.

The units also are designed to make you and your cats or dogs as comfortable as possible. Interior wall surfaces are lined with Kibu Design Concept's eco-carat, a natural ceramic tile that controls room humidity, reduces foul odor, and absorbs other harmful substances in the air. The rest of the walls are designed with Daiken-made textile walls, which are resistant to scratches, water, and mold; maintains humidity; and manages noise. So it shouldn't be a problem if you're still working on potty training your pets.

Units at The Cirque have a fully-equipped kitchen, WiFi, smart television, and split-type air-conditioning unit. You also get access to the gym, swimming pool, gazebo, basketball court, and The Bike Playground—the country’s first indoor cycling park. For meals, guests get vouchers which can be availed at partner restaurants at nearby Industria Mall, such as Chef and Brewer, Kambal Pandesal Concept Café, and the 24-hour Chill Top Bar.

Circulo Verde, much like The Cirque and Industria Mall, also allows pets to roam around its 10-hectare estate. It has an off-leash dog facility called Hachi Park, named after Japan’s loyal dog Hachiko who continued to wait at Shibuya Station for the arrival of his owner for nine years following his death. The park has rubbish bins and water basins, and is surrounded by a 1.2-meter fence. It is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Pet-friendly facilities are pretty hard to come by in the Metro, but places like The Cirque make sure that you'll never have to leave your furbabies behind, even while on vacation.

The Cirque Serviced Residences is at Circulo Verde, 70 Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City. Introductory prices, which is valid until December 2017, range from P4,800 to P7,200. For more information, visit The Cirque's website.
