Rev Up Your Engines at SandBox Pampanga's Newest Karting Circuit
It's just two hours away from Manila!
(SPOT.ph) Since it opened its doors in 2014, SandBox in Porac, Pampanga has been welcoming thrill-seekers to its sprawling two-hectare outdoor adventure complex. It houses the country's tallest swing—the Giant Swing at 10 meters, and the Philippines' first rollercoaster zipline called Avatar One. This June, the park adds another fun attraction to its lineup—City Kart Racing, the country's biggest karting complex.
You can choose between a Funkart and the SuperKart, depending on your need for speed.
Marshals are all around the circuit, just raise your hand in case of a problem with your kart.
The race track can be customized up to five different layouts.
Operated by City Kart Racing, the four-hectare karting complex features a race track built to international competition standards, and a separate motorbike circuit for the two-wheel racers. It is also set to include a mini-golf area and playing fields for airsoft and paintball within 2018.
Enjoy a friendly competition with friends.
You don't need a driver's license, you just need to know when to press the brakes.
Introductory rates start at P450
While being a skilled driver gives you the confidence that you need while racing, you don't need a driver's license to get on one of the karts. There’s only one tip: “Keep your eyes open,” City Kart Racing Jean-Marc Freihuber tells the press during a visit at SandBox on June 19. Also, don’t forget to bring a valid ID because you’ll be needing it to register. Then you’re all set to rev up your engine!
City Kart Racing Pampanga is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m, while the whole adventure park is already open starting at 9 a.m. SandBox is at Alviera, Porac Access Road, Porac, Pampanga. For more information, visit SandBox's website.
