Bataan's Newest Resort Makes You Wish It Was Still Summer
Why not, though?
(SPOT.ph) With monsoon season now upon us, sudden afternoon downpours—after a really, really warm morning—are becoming more common. The heat makes you want to go to the beach, but the intermittent rains make you want to just stay at home. Places near Manila offer the best solution to this dilemma. Take for example, Bataan's newest resort—Verde Azul, which just opened in May in the municipality of Morong.
Verde Azul stays true to its blue-themed hues.
The beach chairs by the pool are perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view of the sea.
This resort ensures that you can still make the best of your weekend getaway even during the rainy season. It features a large swimming pool where you can take a dip if the waves are too strong. There are beachfront cabanas where you can relax while listening to the pitter-patter of rain, and banana boats and jetskis for days when the sun is out.
You can choose between a standard room or a deluxe room with a balcony.
Plus, it's now also easier than ever to reach Bataan, thanks to the 1Bataan Integrated Transport System which opened in December 2017. For P450, you can ride a ferry from the Esplanade Seaside Terminal in Pasay City to Capinpin Port in Orion, Bataan or to the FAB Town Terminal in Mariveles. Travel takes 50 minutes and 90 minutes, respectively.
Verde Azul is at Nagpajo Crossing, Barangay Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or follow Verde Azul on Facebook.
