This Rainy-Day Staycation Promo Lets You Support a Worthy Cause

For every room you book, one child gets a free book (pun intended!).

(SPOT.ph) Being able to buy and read books is a privilege that most of us often take for granted. For kids in disadvantaged communities, spending money on a beautifully written and colorful children's book is just not as important as a meal for a family of 10. So it's good to know that non-profit organizations like Center for Art, New Ventures, and Sustainable Development have taken it upon themselves to raise funds and distribute free books to at least one million children all over the Philippines. And they are not alone, as Makati Diamond Residences is lending a helping hand to this worthy cause.

For every night booked at the luxury Makati hotel, one child from the Makati Diamond Residences' chosen community gets a free book. This is part of Center for Art, New Ventures, and Sustainable Development's (CANVAS) One Million Books for One Million Children Program.

To encourage more guests to stay, the hotel is offering a Rainy Day Stay promo; room rates start at P6,500 for a 41-square-meter Studio, and P8,500 for a 64-square-meter One-Bedroom Suite. The package also includes a buffet breakfast for two, as well as complimentary mini-bar treats.

The Rainy Day Stay is available until September 30 at Makati Diamond Residences, 118 Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City. For more information, visit Makati Diamond Residences' website.
