Get 60% Off at This Cebu Resort for a Limited Time

As long as you have a Visa card.

(SPOT.ph) It hasn’t even been two weeks since we all got a three-day weekend, but if you’re anything like us, we’re pretty sure you’re already thinking about the next holiday—and more importantly, where you’ll be spending it. If you don’t have time to plan a trip abroad, a quick getaway to a local destination is always a good option. So how about a low-key stay at Crimson Resort & Spa in Mactan at 60% off the published rate? You can get the discount if you use your Visa card for stays at the resort until March 15, 2019.

Opened in 2010, Crimson Resort & Spa sits on a six-hectare property just 20 minutes from the Mactan Cebu International Airport. It has 250 guestrooms and 40 private villas, each with its own mini-pool. If you’re still not convinced, here’s the clincher: the resort is also the home of Enye by Chele Gonzalez—the restaurant, much like the celebrated chef’s Gallery by Chele in BGC, is an essential destination in itself for anyone who loves food. Inspired by the diversity of Spanish cuisine, the menu is divided into the traditional and the modern: There are, of course, the best-selling pintxos or tapas like the Jamon y Parmesano (P95) or the Pulpo a la Gallega (P225). But if you’re feeling adventurous, go off-menu and ask about the Caramelized Foie Gras Mousse served with slivers of ripe mango and bitter cacao crumbs—the torched sugar layered on top of the luscious mousse makes it an indulgent, sweet-savory experience you won’t want to end.

For some extra relaxation, you can continue with your weekend of indulgence with a visit to the resort’s AUM Spa. The spa, located in its own casita separate from the resort’s main building, offers unique treatments like the Mactan Bamboo Massage (P5,376/1.5 hours), which uses a rolling and tapping technique to reinvigorate tired muscles. For those with more conventional tastes, the Aum Aroma Massage (P4,032/one-hour massage) is a relaxing treatment that uses long, rhythmic strokes along with scented oils you can choose according to your preference.

Both Enye and AUM are included in Visa’s Epic Experiences promo, giving you 20% off on dining and 30% off for massage treatments at least an hour long. Cebu may not be top-of-mind for the well-traveled adventurer, but revisiting a place you’ve been to before will always be a great excuse to try new things. Great deals like this one don’t hurt, either.

Visa’s Epic Experiences promo offers travel and dining discounts at over 60 establishments nationwide. For a complete list, check out Visa’s website. For offers available worldwide, you can download the Visa Concierge app for iOS or Android.
