Get Away From the Busy City at This Charming Countryside Farm
It just reopened to the public.
(SPOT.ph) If you have a nine-to-six job that just sucks the life out of you, an out-of-town getaway can help recharge your energy and make the dreaded Monday a little bit brighter. Fresh air also helps, and it's exactly what you will find in countryside farms such as the newly reopened Tarawoods Farm and Country House in Batangas.
The family-run, 11-hectare farm resort has been serving weekend travelers since it opened in 1993. Management decided to temporarily close shop from July to September to make way for major reservations within the verdant sanctuary. Now, it features a spruced up three-storey home, which has three air-conditioned bedrooms, a function room, and an attic that can accommodate more people. The old paintings, antique cabinets, wood board flooring, and machuca tiles add to its relaxing vibe. The whole house can fit up to 32 people, making it an ideal spot for reunions, small events, and even a garden-themed wedding. Guests can also enjoy the adult and kiddie pools, a lovely gazebo, and the bonfire pit. You can even arrange for horse-riding lessons while you're there.
Tarawoods Farm and Country House is most proud of its three-hectare dragon fruit plantation. You can never go wrong with this produce, which is believed to have a number of health benefits. The whole property is also lined with age-old narra, acacia, and mahagony trees, providing a cool breeze even during the dry season.
Tarawoods Farm and Country House is in Barrio Natatas, Tanauan, Batangas. For more information, follow Tarawoods Farm and Country House on Facebook.
