(SPOT.ph) We know from history that Fort Santiago served as a place of torture for imprisoned Filipino guerillas while the rest of Intramuros was razed to the ground during World War II. So it doesn't come as a surprise that the Walled City can be a bit of creepy at night, with stories claiming that the soldiers' ghosts would patrol the cobblestone streets after dark. Mystery Manila tries to solve this paranormal mystery of the old Manila destination—or at least a make-believe one—by holding a special challenge on November 3 and 4 to those who want to play detective. Called Intramuros Investigation, the event is in partnership with Bambike, which means that challengers get to ride bamboo bicycles while figuring out the case. It's a good escape plan too in case players get chased by ghosts. Kidding! (Or are we?)

To play, you have to reserve a slot through the Facebook page of Mystery Manila or Bambike Eco Tour and pay P799 per head. There's a barkada bundle priced at P3,499 for five people. You only have 50 minutes to solve the mystery before "another wave of creatures comes out to terrorize the people of Intramuros."
Intramuros Investigation resumes on November 3 and 4. Meeting place is at Plaza San Luis Complex. For more information, visit Mystery Manila's website.
