(SPOT.ph) Though you're probably not going to have your traditional Noche Buena, spending Christmas Eve at a hotel is undoubtedly more convenient and, oftentimes, more festive. And "festive" is the first word that'll come to mind when you step foot in Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City, where the merry yuletide season gets a large helping of magic with its Christmas theme for 2018: "The Enchanted Journey."

Sofitel's flagship restaurant, Spiral, is the perfect place to check out the hotel's 45-foot Christmas tree in blue and gold. Around it, three hot air balloons with blue and gold accents float from the ceiling, transporting kids and kids-at-heart to the pages of well-loved children's book Around the World in 80 Days. Even the spiral staircase is adorned with thousands of twinkling lights.

The hotel's French bistro Le Bar, on the other hand, has a four-foot-tall gingerbread Christmas tree. The outlet offers an irresistible array of Christmas-themed sweets and pastries, including a galleon made of milk chocolate and a miniature Christmas village of snowmen, plus a moving toy train.
Sofitel's Christmas staycation package for a family of four starts at P8,000, which is inclusive of in-room family movies, cash vouchers for Le Boutique and Le Spa, and a gift certificate for Vietura Aesthetic Lifestyle. For Spiral's holiday special, the Christmas Eve buffet starts at P5,500 while Christmas brunch starts at P4,950. There's also a sumptuous outdoor banquet at their Sunset Bar for P4,200 on December 24.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is at CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. For more information, visit Sofitel’s website.
