Panglao's Newest Resort Is a Haven for Relaxation
It has an outdoor spa cabana.
(SPOT.ph) With the opening of Bohol–Panglao International Airport—dubbed the Philippines' first eco-friendly airport—in November 2018, it's easier than ever to get to the white-sand beaches and colorful reefs of Panglao Island in Bohol. And if you get tired after a day of swimming with butanding or skindiving in Bohol's underwater sites, there's the newly opened North Zen Villas to offer travelers some respite.
Opened to the public on December 22, 2018, this wellness and spa resort is located in a secluded part of the island—ensuring the privacy and serenity you need for a peaceful getaway.
The one-hectare property features a 500-meter bamboo boardwalk, which nestles an outdoor spa cabana with a view of Doljo Beach. The resort also boasts fresh seafood and organic dishes in its in-house restaurant, SEADS (short for "seafood" and "seeds"). Time to plan that summer getaway?
North Zen Villas is in Barangay Doljo, Panglao Island, Bohol. Grand opening is tentatively scheduled for 2019. For more information, visit North Zen Villas' website.
