(SPOT.ph) Leaving your pets behind, even just for a day, can be very stressful—more so for extended stays away from home. Hilton Manila, a luxurious hotel within Resorts World Manila in Pasay City, hopes to ease the worries of pet parents by opening their doors to dogs and cats. This new pet-friendly policy started on July 1.

"It’s no secret that pet humanization is a booming trend here in Manila. Treating pets like an adored family member continues to be a familiar scene out in the public. Be it dining out, shopping, or a leisurely stroll in the mall, one is sure to find devoted pet parents with their cats and dogs," general manager Simon McGrath said in a statement. With this in mind, Hilton Manila hopes that everyone gets the "most memorable staycations with furry family members" in the hotel.

Hilton Manila guests can pre-arrange pet-friendly rooms, which come with a small bed, water bowl, and snacks for your four-legged companion. You can bring two pets at most, each with a maximum weight of 30 pounds. Aside from prior reservation, you also have to e-mail a fully accomplished Pet Waiver before your booking date and pay a one-time fee of P7,500 on top of the room rate.
Pets aren't allowed in the hotel's pool area, food and beverage outlets, and fitness center—but that just means you have zero excuse not to spend some quality time with your kids. But if you really have to leave them in the room, make sure to bring a kennel you can secure them in.

Hilton Manila is known for its spacious accommodations, which range from a standard 40-square meter room to a 160-square meter suite. Each of these come with Hilton's signature Serenity Bed. Have fun choosing your pillows from their complimentary pillow menu, too! All rooms come with 55-inch smart television, a walk-in wardrobe, and a huge bathroom with separate shower area and free-standing tub.
Hilton Manila is at 1 Newport Boulevard, Newport City, Pasay. Room rates start at P8,240. For more information, visit Hilton Manila's website.
