(SPOT.ph) Out of all the visa-free destinations for Philippine passport holders, you better start planning for your trip to this country. Morocco is as close to a fairy-tale world as you could possibly get and it looks like flying there will soon be much easier. Direct flights between the Philippines and Morocco will soon be possible thanks to a deal between the Department of Transportation and the North African country.

Full traffic rights for both passenger and cargo have been approved by both countries through a Memorandum of Understanding, which means that daily flights between the two nations are now possible. This is just an initial step while the Department of Transportation (DOTr) finalizes an Air Services Agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco.

Once the discussions are finalized, there will be an "increase in tourism figures and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries" as well as a boost in "economic and social relations," said the DOTr in a statement. A Philippine embassy in Morocco is also set to be established in 2020.

This is the seventh Air Services Agreement (ASA) of the DOTr in Africa. The department also recently signed an agreement with the Republic of Rwanda in July, allowing for flights between the two nations seven times a week.Â
