This BGC Attraction Is Your Chance to be the Favorite Tita or Tito
Bring your nieces and nephews!
(SPOT.ph) The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City has been around for a while now, but they've always been on their feet—cooking up the next big attraction to amaze kids and kids-at-heart. Their outdoor display has brought from the vast world of outer space to the interesting age of dinosaurs; and now, to the fantastic world of whatever and wherever your imagination can take you. Playtales: A Journey from Me to We is made especially for kids ages two to six, which means you have another reason to "kidnap" your nieces and nephews and just return them to their parents when it's time to sleep (or eat...or poop).
Playtales, which opened in December 2019 on the second floor of The Mind Museum, features three "worlds." The first, World of Humans, aims to develop empathy among the young ones; World of Others is where the children connect with their environment, both living and non-living; and the World of Ideas celebrates the power of creativity and imagination. There's a room that can let them be eagles or zebras as they don cool costumes, another where they can play with shadow puppets, and another where they can interact with other kids through group games.
"People always debate which is more powerful—nature or nurture—but it is both. It is always an interplay between your genes and what and who surrounds you. So in 'Playtales,' we focused on this interplay of crafting creative experiences to shape children's responses to different stories and different situations to make them aware that they live in a world with others," Maria Isabel Garcia, curator of The Mind Museum, said in a statement.
Playtales is at 2/F The Mind Museum, J.Y. Campos Park, 3rd Avenue, Bonifacio Global City. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to Playtales is on every one-and-a-half-hour interval. Tickets are at P300 per child (six years old and below) with one companion.
