Cebu Pacific Is Now Offering a Travel Fund Option for These Flights
Apart from canceling, you can also opt to rebook.
(SPOT.ph) The World Health Organization, on March 12, declared that COVID-19 can now be characterized as a pandemic. In an effort to slow down the spread of the virus, health agencies are recommending to maintain social distancing of at least one meter. If you're heading to the airport or boarding an aircraft, keeping such distance can be hard. Those with upcoming flights with Cebu Pacific now have the flexibility to rebook or cancel their flights scheduled from March 10 to April 30.
If you wish to cancel your booking for the time being, you cannot refund your ticket as cash but you can put its full cost in a virtual wallet called Travel Fund. You can then use this as payment for future bookings within 180 days.
Rebooking fee is also waived if you want to just change your flight schedule. But you still have to pay the fare difference.
If you're booking new flights between March 10 and April 30 (for any travel date and route), you can avail of CEB Flexi for free. This add-on, which was launched in October, guarantees cheaper flight changes by allowing travelers to rebook up to two times for free. Fare difference during rebooking still applies.
