ICYMI: Domestic Fares in 2021 Go as Low as P99
Cebu Pacific holds another seat sale.
(SPOT.ph) The last three months have seen a number of canceled flights, both domestic or international, because of travel restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic. If you're itching to make travel plans for 2021, now's the perfect time as Cebu Pacific holds another seat sale for flights from July 20 to January 31, 2021—but a quick look on their app shows that lower fares are available all the way until June 2021. The promo started on June 6 and runs until June 11, but it looks like there are still a lot of cheap seats up for grabs.
One-way base fare is as low as P99 for flights to these routes:
- From Cebu to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calbayog, Camiguin, Clark, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, or Zamboanga
- From Clark to Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Davao, Iloilo, or Puerto Princesa; and for flights from Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi
Meanwhile, flights originating from Manila are at P299 base fare for a one-way trip. Destinations include Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Coron (Busuanga), Cauayan (Isabela), Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Legazpi, Masbate, Naga, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Romblon (Tablas), Roxas, San Jose (Mindoro), Siargao, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Virac, or Zamboanga.
CEB Flexi, a new feature launched in October 2019, is also available for free. This add-on allows you to rebook your flight to a different date (but still the same route) without penalties. You can do this up to two times, and all you have to pay is the fare difference.
Cebu Pacific has already rolled out stricter guidelines and sanitation protocols for when commercial passenger operations resume following quarantine restrictions. Safety starts as soon as you get to the airport where ground staff will be required to wear PPEs; self-check-in kiosks, bag drop counters, and shuttle bases will be cleaned frequently; and hand sanitizers will be placed in passenger areas. Self-service check-in and no-touch boarding will be the new norm. Other aircraft cleaning measures will also be implemented.
