KidZania Manila Is Closing Their Doors For Good
They've been around for five years.
(SPOT.ph) The COVID-19 pandemic is really hitting businesses hard, especially ones that depend on gathering a crowd—something that's prohibited amid the community quarantine. One of these is KidZania Manila, which is ceasing operations effective August 31 as announced by Play Innovations Inc. in a statement released by ABS-CBN on July 22.
"With the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing community quarantine, we have complied and suspended operations to prevent the further spread of the virus, which resulted to a massive impact on our revenues. Even if we are allowed to operate in the future, the 'new normal' will prohibit mass gathering and require children to remain at home. These conditions have left us with no choice but to close the play city's doors permanently," they said. They have been closed since March 11 to comply with quarantine rules.
