Pampanga Giant Lantern Festival
Locally referred to as the “Ligligan Parul," Pampanga's annual festival is a decades-old tradition with a history traced back to between 1904 and 1908. This also marks the 13th year that Robinsons Starmills Pampanga is hosting the event. Competing villages vie for the coveted "Brightest Star" award by creating their biggest, brightest, and best-designed Christmas lanterns. For this year, seven barangays are competing: Bulaon, Calulut, Sto. Niño, San Nicolas, Sta. Lucia, San Juan, and Telabastagan.
Giant Lantern Festival 2020 Nightly Displays runs until January 3 with daily shows at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. (except December 24 and 31) at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga. Pre-registration is required.
