But the most interesting accommodation is their "Mango Nest," a small teepee-shaped rental in the middle of a garden. It can accommodate up to two people, but there's no stopping you from renting it all to yourself for a peaceful, television-free weekend.

The fan-cooled 12-square meter bedroom is as basic as it gets, but it still has everything you need for a nice rest: a double bed, a fan, a side table, towels, and toiletries. Outside, you have rattan seats on your porch and outdoor tables and chairs for a nice breakfast. You can also set up a mat in the backyard for a picnic.

Mango Nest Hut is just 10 minutes away from Subic Bay CBD and five minutes to Royal Duty Free. It is located within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo, Zambales. Rates start at P1,750. For more information, follow The Nest By the Sea on Facebook or Mango Nest Hut on Airbnb.
