There's a New Spot in QC For Your Adult Biking Lessons
Only people 18 years old and above are allowed.
(SPOT.ph) After a succesful launch at Robinsons Place Manila for weekly bike lessons, the National Bicycle Organization finds a new home at Robinsons Magnolia for Quezon City residents looking to get into the two-wheel mode of transportation. People who are 18 years old and above are welcome to sign up from Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sessions start on March 1.
Two-hour sessions are at 10 a.m., 12 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. You have to book your appointment through their website. Payment is at P300 per head, which you can settle through credit or debit card, Coins.ph, GCash, or PayMaya. Students are required to bring their own alcohol spray so they can personally disinfect the bikes they will use (aside from regular disinfection in between sessions), wear a facemask all throughout the lesson, and maintain distance of at least three meters from the instructor.
You don't have to bring a bicycle since the rental is already part of the fees. According to the National Bicycle Organization (NBO), it only takes about 30 minutes to learn so you use the rest of the time to bike around on your own.
The NBO advocates for a "bicycle-friendly Philippines" by promoting bikes as "alternative mode of transportation and lifestyle." Using the two-wheeler for short trips and errands would minimize your carbon footprint, help clean the air, and decongest the roads.
