Weekend Spot: Wake Up to a View of Sierra Madre at This Nueva Ecija Resort
You can even tour its cacao plantation.
(SPOT.ph) What easily comes to mind when you think of Nueva Ecija are farms, an expanse of green, and—well, more farms. And this province in Central Luzon embraces that fully, even jumpstarting tourism through farm resorts and restaurants with a view. If you're looking to get away from the city and come closer to nature, you can book a cabin at Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm. Rates start at P2,500 for a maximum of four people.
Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm is an agriculture and farm tourism site located in Pantabangan. It boasts a view of the Sierra Madre and the Pantabangan Dam; hectares of land perfect for offroad driving, camping, and trekking; and an organic farm that produces high-quality cacao beans. You can also deepen your understanding of organic farming and coffee production through their Cacao Plantation Tour or sign up for their Awitan Falls Trip. After a whole day of adventure, you can doze off in one of their rustic cabins, which Farm Ridge is most known for.
Here's what to see when you book a cabin at this Nueva Ecija resort:
