And if you're leaning towards achieving a healthier lifestyle, the reopened Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite has everything you need for a full-body workout. It is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but make sure to book a slot and follow health protocols at all times.
The sports facilty also welcomed Coach Hans Smit as Sports Director following their reopening on November 12. He's expected to share his expertise culled for over 40 years to athletes and sports enthusiasts at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub (AVSH).
“My aim is to make AVSH one of the busiest sports facilities in the metro whole year round. It is the perfect location for training because of its quiet surroundings. This makes it the perfect place for athletes/teams for a more concentrated training place. It’s very private," said Smit in a statement.
AVSH, which first opened in 2018, takes pride in having an Olympic-sized swimming pool with Anti-Wave starting blocks and the latest timing system by Omega and a nine-lane track oval built in accordance with the International Association of Athletics Federations standards. It also has a football field with natural grass and a sand sub-base, bike lanes, jogging paths, and plenty of outdoor space. There's also an indoor training and fitness club called Sante Fitness Lab, which not only has a sports science laboratory, but also sports rehabilitation areas and a nutritition café.
Here are the safety guidelines at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub:
- Pre-booking is required through 0967-405-5782. Pay through GCash or BPI.
- Only fully vaccinated individuals aged 12 to 65 are allowed. Proof of vaccination is required.
- You also need to present a signed waiver and Stay Safe QR code.
- Facilities are strictly for training.
Rates at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub:
- Pool: P250 per head for two-hour use
- Track Oval: P90 per head for two-hour use
- Field: P3,000 for two-hour use
