Mall of Asia's Holiday Fireworks Show Is Back

(SPOT.ph) When it comes to fireworks displays in Metro Manila, there's no better way to see them than at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The massive shopping mall is right in front of Manila Bay, giving it more than enough skyline for a good view of pyrotechnics. With health restrictions now easing, Mall of Asia's popular holiday fireworks returns and it's "better than ever," they said in a post.

The schedule of the fireworks display shows is every Friday at 7 p.m., from September 16 to November 11; and every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., from November 18 to December 30. The event happens at the mall’s Central Park, SM by the Bay.

Mall of Asia, in the holidays of 2021—a.k.a. the season of the Omicron variant, launched a drive-thru installation of cheery Christmas sights to make sure that viewers remain safe while taking their holiday photos without having to leave their cars. Called Night of Lights, it featured over a million Christmas lights spread out in three zones and three tunnel installations. There were areas with candy canes, Christmas trees, and dreamy light arches. The MOA Tram also passed through the tunnels for mall-goers without cars. In 2020—a.k.a. the height of the pandemic, Mall of Asia canceled all weekend fireworks displays, except for the one on January 1 to celebrate the new year.
