(SPOT.ph) Owning a pet is a lot of hard work and isn't all fun and games. You feed them, groom them, play with them, and yes, even discipline them. Often, owning a pet feels a lot like having a child — hence the term fur-parents. Like any parent, we always want the best for our fur children. While there are a ton of resources about proper pet care, it still feels as if we aren't equipped with enough information. It can be very confusing and frustrating, so workshops that allow us to understand and deal with our pets are always a welcome affair. Take, for example, this set of classes that'll be held at the UP Town Center this October 2.
Here are the pet workshops happening in UP Town Center next weekend:
UP Town Center will host a set of pet workshops called Paws 'n Play. These workshops will be held for the benefit of animal shelters and non-profit organizations dedicated to helping our furry friends. For every P500 donation to UPTC's chosen animal group, you can reserve your slot and participate in the different classes and workshops to give you and your pet an afternoon to remember.
The workshops cover various topics, from dog obedience training to alternative healing techniques such as reiki that'll help pets relax and heal.
Aside from workshops for our pets, there will also be activities for fur parents looking to enhance their skills or learn a hobby. Immortalize your pet's likeness with the pet drawing workshop or perhaps create a unique addition to your pet's attire with the make-own-own pet accessories workshop that'll surely spoil your furbaby. And if that isn't enough to peak your interest, there's also a baking class wherein you can learn how to make pet treats.
All these activities will happen at the UPTC Activity Center at different times in the afternoon. You can register for any of the workshops online.
