Celebrate your love for food at BGC Passionfest 2015: Sari-Sari Fiesta happening from November 27 to 29 at Bonifacio High Street. This year’s festival kicks off with the Pica-Pica Quiz Night on Pinoy Pop Culture, happening on November 27. Take part in fun games, art, food, and shows! There will also be an obstacle run on November 28 and a Bayanihan Parade on November 29.

Ballet Manila continues its From Page to Stage series with Pinocchiorunning from November 27 to December 6 at the Aliw Theater. This production gives life to the fairytale about a wooden toy who dreams of becoming a boy. Originally planned as a one-act ballet, this holiday offering from Ballet Manila has expanded to a full-length, two-act production that amps up the production and the spectacle. Tickets are priced at P1,500, P1,000, and P500.

Calling all sneakerheads! Sole Academy Sneaker Festival 2015, the first and biggest sneaker festival, is happening on November 29, 12 p.m., at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. There will be a lineup of contemporary music acts, delectable food curations, and a sneaker-inspired art exhibit. You'll also be able to check out all the latests from Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Saucony, among many others. Tickets are priced at P1,100 (VIP) and P650 (General Admission).

A new obstacle hits town this weekend! The Wacky Obstacle Run Challenge 2015 is happening on November 28, 6 a.m., at the Bonifacio Global City. It's an obstacle run, complete with crazy twists in classic challenges. Think humongous inflatables, foamy slip and slides, colored powder, and sometimes, even people in sumo suits trying to block your path! There will be music, food, drinks, foam pits, and water fights! Registration is P100.

The Teatrino Film Series comes back with a new set of movies on November 28 at Teatrino. Catch the screening of Sana Dati at 4:30 p.m., Lorna at 7 p.m., and Above the Clouds at 9:30 p.m. Sana Dati tells the story of Andrea, who is about to marry a man she does not love when a mysterious guest arrives. Next up is Lorna, which tells the story of a 60-year-old woman who takes a second chance at finding “the one.” Finally, Above the Clouds tells the story of a grandfather and his grandson who go on a journey in the Mountain Province and come to terms with their losses. Tickets are priced at P200 each.

The holiday celebration starts at the re-opening of Mezza Norte on November 27 at the UP-Ayala Land Technohub. This night food and lifestyle market will be open every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Mezza Norte is one among many legs of Mercato Centrale, making weekends in the North perfect for food-tripping.




On November 28, 12 p.m., at the Samsung Hall, rock out to 11 hours of non-stop music at Bazooka Rocks 4 with a lineup of nine alternative, rock, and pop-punk bands, coupled with a special royal treatment for hardcore fans. Headlining this year's run is Never Shout Never, the pop acoustic sensation before pop acoustic sensations took YouTube by storm. Find out what makes a hero at The Mind Museum's Cafe Scientifique: Heroes and Human Naturehappening on November 29, 4 p.m., at the Canopy Plaza. With all the buzz going around the film Heneral Luna, join anthropologist Felipe Jocano, Jr., historian Dr. Ricardo Jose, and Heneral Luna himself, John Arcilla, for a discussion about the fiery general and other notable individuals who've contributed to our history. Catch the last and one-time screening of Mga Kwentong Tsubibo on November 28, 7 p.m., at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University. This full-length film offers a critical look at the social determinants of health and how they affect the lives of Filipinos. The film is aimed to challenge viewers to think critically about these very real social issues happening in the country today. The proceeds will be used to fund projects that aim to address the same issues portrayed in the film. Tickets are priced at P200.
