Type lovers and lettering enthusiasts are in for a treat at Type Kita 3: Pass on the Passion, happening on December 12 and 13 at 1161 Pasong Tamo, Makati City. Check out local typographic art pieces, join workshops by hand-letterers and calligraphers, and shop for handmade crafts and printed goods from local entrepreneurs. There will also be an art-exchange activity where artists and guests can bring their works and materials and trade it with fellow type-enthusiasts. It's back with all new monologues that are inspired by real love stories and popular memes. Saturday marks another movie day with the Teatrino Film Series! On December 12, catch Senior Year at 4:30 p.m., Sleepless at 7 p.m., and Alagwa at 9:30 p.m. Senior Year tells the story of 10 students of a private Catholic high school in Manila as they go through the many transitions that come with their final year in high school. Prime Cruz's Sleepless is an offbeat rom-com about how two insomniacs bond while the rest of the world sleeps. Alagwa stars Jericho Rosales who plays a father searching for his son after disappearing in the city. Tickets are priced at P200 each.

The second part of Pay Ink Forward continues on December 12, 3 p.m., at the Pineapple Lab Gallery for an artwork viewing and claiming. Pay Ink Forward is an auction of donated art pieces from different calligraphers, doodlers, brush letterers, and typographers for the benefit of young cancer patients from the National Children’s Hospital and Philippine General Hospital. The benefit project aims to help the young cancer patients’ parents with their medical expenses. Entrance fee is P150.

Bit by Bit Company presents Children’s Plays for Adultsa twin bill of Si Maria Isabella at ang Guryon ng mga Tala and Games People Play, onstage at the Power Mac Center Spotlight on December 1213, 19, and 20. Adapted by Deldoc from Dean Francis Alfar’s Kite of StarsSi Maria Isabella at ang Guryon ng mga Tala tells the story of a young girl who, wanting to become a star in the sky, embarks on a 60-year quest to build a large kite to help fulfill her goal. Games People Play is about three characters who try to understand why they are the way they are by revisiting their childhood, specifically the games they had played among themselves. Tickets are priced at P836 and P1,254.
