Just in time for the much-anticipated film in the galaxy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Marvel Comics is set to release the Star Wars: Annual #1, pencilled by an artist from a galaxy not far, far, away—Filipino artist Leinil Yu. A signing event will be held on Star Wars Saturdayhappening on December 19, 3 p.m., at Greenhills Promenade. Aside from the signing event, Star Wars Saturday will feature activities for every Warsie starting. These include cosplay competitions, toys exhibits, and X-Wing Miniature Game.

The Teatrino Film Series caps off the year with another exciting trio of Philippines movies on December 19, 4:30 p.m., at Teatrino in Promenade. Take your pick from Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa (4:30 p.m.), Patintero: Ang Alamat ni Meng Patalo (7 p.m.)and Apocalypse Child (9:30 p.m.). Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwaang Paa, which stars Paulo Avelino and Jean Garcia, is about a college student who decides to stalk his professor whom he discovers is a dance instructor at night. Patintero tells the story of a young neighbourhood underdog who assembles a team of losers to join her in the ultimate battle of "patintero." In Apocalypse Child, a boy who spends all his time surfing is faced to confront his past, including the myths about his life. Tickets are priced at P200.
