The Philippine Educational Theater Association introduces a future Philippines in dystopian rap musical 3 Stars and a Sun, featuring the music of Pinoy rap legend, Francis Magalona. The show is slated to run from February 5 to March 6 at the PETA Theater Center. The play is set in the future inside The Stormdome, a fallout shelter created to protect the entire archipelago from global warfare and extreme weather. Two groups of friends will clash inside—the kids from glossy and developed Lumino city, and the kids from the rough streets of Diliman city. In spite of their varied backgrounds and upbringing, both groups must realize that there are larger problems inside The Stormdome than their petty gang issues. Tickets are priced at P800, P1,200, and P1,800.
