The highly anticipated musical finally hits the Manila stage! Les Miserables is opening on March 11, 8 p.m., at The Theatre at Solaire. Set against the backdrop of 19th Century France, Les Mis is the unforgettable story of heartbreak, passion, and the resilience of the human spirit. It features beloved songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home," and "One Day More." This breathtaking new production has been completely reimagined with glorious new sets and staging. The international tour is headlined by Simon Gleeson as Jean Valjean, the country's very own Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine, Earl Carpenter as Javert, and many more. Get ready for a fun night at HellaB’lu, happening on March 12, 7 p.m., at the Music Museum. Expect a comedy show that features the hilarious and internationally acclaimed Fil-Am funny man Rex Navarrete. The American-based comedian will be joined by the country’s premier homegrown laugh-a-minute crew from Comedy Manila. There will be capsule classes, a live mural making, on-site sketching, and demos from your favorite artists. Learn all about brush doodle with Nelz Yumul, embossed calligraphy with Fozzy Dayrit, journals and stamps with Aina Laurel Paco, stamp calligraphy with Paola Eastern, and fashion illustration with Peterich Chiu Wan.
