Get ready for another round of pop culture epicness as AsiaPop Comicon Manila comes back bigger, better, and geekier than ever from August 26 to 28 at the SMX Convention Center! Now on its 10th edition, the International Silent Film Festival Manila will run from August 25 to 28 at the Shang Cineplex in Shangri-La Plaza Mall and will feature 10 silent films from nine countries to be accompanied by Tago Jazz Collective, Oh, Flamingo, Ely Buendia, Dingdong Fiel feat. Miguel Ángel Lobato, Makiling Ensemble, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas, Basti Artadi, and Up Dharma Down. Alongside the screenings, this year's festival will also feature an exhibition, lectures, and workshops with international film experts, including Nick Deocampo.

On August 27, 1 p.m., SnikOut will be partnering with Pulseras by Kim to hold a Brass Stamping Workshop at Negative Space Café to celebrate International Dog Day! Participants will have a chance to learn the basics to creating personalized dog tags for their dogs and pretty goodies for themselves. For P2,000, the workshop will include basic brass stamping tools and techniques taught by Kim. While participants enjoy an afternoon of creative workshop, Negative Space Café will be providing yummy food and drinks to satisfy your tummies. They will also be giving out doggy treats to your dear furry friends!
