Zambales is well-known for its long coastline with pristine coves, amazing surf spots, and a number of beach resorts. One of those is Casa Angelina, which opened to the public in May 2017, located in an under-the-radar beach strip in the province. The air-conditioned cottages are made of local hardwood and nipa roof and painted with murals that complete the tropical vibe. The resort only has four rooms but each can accommodate up to six people, so better book ASAP.

It may have been around since 2012, but the place kept things fresh when it opened a new building in September 2017 to accommodate more guests. Activities include a game of basketball or billiards, a swim in the pool, or just some quiet time by the poolside chairs. The white-washed walls also add to the relaxing ambience.

The traditional kubos, two-storey Balinese-inspired nipa hut, and campsite match the chill vibe of this laid-back surf spot.
