But before you do, there are a few more steps you have to take to make sure your vacation will be enjoyable and safe for everyone:
- Book your travel transportation and Department of Tourism-accredited accommodations.
- After gathering all your requirements, sign up four days prior to your arrival date for an online Health Declaration Card. (QR codes are automatically generated.)
- Aside from personal information, you will need to provide the following: your flight details, accommodation confirmation, itinerary; as well as upload copies of your valid ID, roundtrip flight and booking details, and vaccination card (DOH’s VaxCert or your city/municipality’s vaccination card with QR code).
- If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you need to (as of this writing) provide a negative RT-PCR result certificate from a maximum of 72 hours before your flight—this applies to those 12 years old and above.
Boracay still has amazing recreation, relaxation, dining, and accommodation options for a wide range of people. Many places offer discounted rates as tourism starts to pick up again.
