Check out the Korean Cultural Center's digital art exhibit, Endless Landscape:
Starting January 19, those looking for a dose of Korean culture and the arts can get their fix without flying off to the land of Hallyu. All you have to do is drop by the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) in Taguig, and you can marvel at four different Korean digital art shows that showcase traditional Korean art in large-scale multimedia formats. Yup, just head over sans any reservations or signups from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Dubbed Endless Landscape: Digitally Reimagined Korean Art, this free digital art exhibit will run until June 29, 2024. This gives art aficionados about six months to visit (and hopefully revisit) the space. At Endless Landscape, guests can watch the digitally displayed art or pose and walk through the exhibit as it brings you to a "unique intersection of the past and present."
The exhibit celebrates the 75 years of friendship between Korea and the Philippines. It is displayed at the KCC In partnership with the National Museum of Korea through the Overseas Korean Galleries Support Program.
What else can we expect at the Korean Cultural Center?
Aside from Endless Landscapes, The KCC will also be holding free mini-concerts featuring Filipino and Korean beats on select dates. Interested guests can just walk in on January 19, February 9, March 15, April 19, May 17, and June 14 for this musical treat.
The KCC hosts three to four different kinds of exhibitions yearly that aim to promote new opportunities for Filipino and Korean cultural exchange. Film and concert screenings are also held in the center every month.
Additionally, the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines has a wide range of programs which include class offerings in the Korean language, Traditional dance, K-Pop dance, Korean singing, taekwondo, hansik or Korean cooking, and mooninhwa, minhwa or traditional painting.
Endless Landscape will be at 5/F Korean Cultural Center, 59 Bayani Road, Taguig City. Entrance is free. It will run from January 19 to June 29, 2024. For more information, visit the Korean Cultural Center's Facebook page.
