Altro Mondo Gallery Gets Ready for the Big Move
It closed its doors at Greenbelt 5.
(SPOT.ph) Have you been taking advantage of all the things the local art scene has to offer lately? There are art festivals opening in every city, lots of local fairs, and plenty of new galleries. Altro Mondo, formerly located at Greenbelt 5, is just one of the many art venues that are moving to bigger locations to better accommodate Philippine artists and enthusiasts. Altro Mondo Creative Space, along Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City, is opening on February 23 with an exhibit titled Ouverture.
Not much has been revealed about the inaugural exhibit, but we heard it's going to showcase some of the most esteemed names in the Philippine art scene. Altro Mondo, after all, has been known to exhibit both renowned artists in the global art scene and emerging Filipino artists since its debut in May 2010. It expanded its exhibition space in 2013 by partnering with The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences and opened a gallery on the hotel's fourth level. We can't wait to see what the new space has in store.
The new Altro Mondo Creative Space is at 1159 Don Chino Roces Avenue, San Antonio Village, Makati City. It opens on February 23. For more information, visit Altro Mondo's website.
