(SPOT.ph) Mention the name Vincent van Gogh to anyone and what immediately comes to mind are his landscapes and still life that's unlike no other. "The Starry Night," "Sunflowers," and "Bedroom in Arles" are just some of his most notable works, and you can see this and more as huge projections when world-famous exhibition Van Gogh Alive comes to Manila. The show will be on display at the fourth floor of One Bonifacio High Street from October 26 to December 8.
Tickets, priced at P750, are now available through Van Gogh Alive PH's website, the Mind Museum ticket booth from Tuesday to Sunday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and Van Gogh Alive ticket booth starting on October 26 (from Monday to Sunday, 10 a.m to 9 p.m.). Students, up to college, can come in for only P450.Â

Van Gogh Alive, which is presented by Grande Exhibitions, is dubbed the "world’s most visited multi-sensory exhibition experience." It hopes to put the usual art experience out of the box, a.k.a. an often-intimidating museum, and into a familiar place, a.k.a. a shopping mall. Plus, unlike your usual galleries where paintings are hung on the wall, more than 3,000 Van Gogh’s pieces—scaled massively—are projected on big screens, walls, columns, ceilings, and even the floor. These larger-than-life images also change or switch places as synchronized with a classical score.
The show has previously visited Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Berlin, Madrid, Moscow, Shanghai, Singapore, Xiamen, and Hong Kong. After attracting thousands of people in more than 50 cities around the world, Van Gogh Alive is finally coming to Manila to wow us all.
Van Gogh Alive runs from October 26 to December 8 at 4/F One Bonifacio High Street Mall, 28th Street corner 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City. For updates, follow Bonifacio High Street on Facebook.
