Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert Is Coming to Manila
Catch it on its limited run at the Theater at Solaire.
(SPOT.ph) Whether you love 'em or you hate 'em, the Star Wars flicks are a pop culture phenomenon that transcend generations. Storyline and visual effects aside, the musical score is equally mindblowing in its own way. We mean, who hasn't gotten earworm over the dun-dun-dun-dun of the Imperial March or got excited when the Star Wars theme plays, signaling the start of a new adventure?
Lucky for us, we don't have to wait for another Star Wars movie to hear these classics play. Bask in the sounds of the galaxy as Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert comes to Manila this year.

Here's what we know about the upcoming Star Wars: A New Hope concert coming to Manila:
Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert will have two shows in Manila: on September 7 at 7 p.m. and on September 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Theater at Solaire. It will be a screening of the complete film accompanied by the Oscar-winning score composed by John Williams and performed by the Filharmonika Orchestra live to the film. Veteran music conductor Gerard Salonga will conduct the full orchestra.
You might remember that the 2020 staging of the same film concert was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fingers crossed, this one will finally push through so that we can finally go on a musical journey through the universe alongside Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and the droid duo R2-D2 and C-3PO.
Pre-sales for tickets start at 10 a.m. on June 3, and the general sale begins two days later, on June 5. Tickets can be purchased online and in Ticketworld outlets nationwide.
