Free Art Workshops You Can Attend at Ortigas Art Festival 2023

Some like to relieve stress by engaging in physical activities like exercise and sports, while others like to immerse themselves in creative endeavors. But let's face it, art classes and workshops can get expensive. So when the opportunity comes for free ways to master or learn a new craft, we say yes— enter: Ortigas Art Festival. This celebration of creativity will run until August 13, and no, you won't just get to see art exhibits. Free art workshops at Estancia Mall in Pasig are also slated all throughout.

Here are all the free workshops at this year's Ortigas Art Festival:
The Ortigas Art Festival celebrates various Filipino visual art forms from July to mid-August. You can catch the exhibit and its many pocket events at the East Wing of Estancia Mall. The best part? All of the events are for free. All the art workshops, film screenings, talks, and exhibits are open to the public sans the hefty price tag.
Here's the schedule of workshops and art activities for the Ortigas Art Festival:
For July, most of the activities will happen over the weekends, but once August kicks in, you can expect activities daily leading up to the closing night.
To be able to take part in the workshops, interested participants must simply register online and tick the boxes of the events they want to participate in. There are sessions on bonsai, Ikebana a.k.a, Japanese-style flower arrangement, macrame, and even film screenings of Filipino indie films.
The only catch is the event is only open for those with an Ortigas Community Card. Not to worry, though; it's very easy to get one. You just have to download the Ortigas Malls App and register for the community card. There's just an extra step in the process, but it's still free overall.
