Here's what we know about the upcoming Philippine International Comics Festival:

The Philippine International Comics Festival (PICOF) is an online event that will take place over Zoom at three separate time blocks, 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 5 p.m. PICOF aims to bridge Filipino comics to the rest of the world and grow more readers. Here you'll be able to meet important figures in the graphic novel and comic book industry and hear them talk about everything related to the field.  

Aside from Filo publishers and authors, PICOF is also expected to have international experts chime in on where the industry is headed. But if you've got a penchant for collecting comic books and graphic novels, you'll be glad to know you can grab copies of PICOF selection comics, National Book Award-winning graphic novels, and other Filipino comics online even before the festival at Komiket's Secret HQ Bookstore, Lazada, and Shopee.

The Philippine International Comics Festival is organized by Komiket. Komiket was launched in 2015 as an affordable comics art market and an accessible entry point for first-time comics creators, artists, and readers. Today, Komiket holds several art markets every year in different locations.
